The Northwest Pennsylvania Maple Syrup Producers Association's 20th Annual Maple and Taste Tour is this weekend, March 11th and 12th, 2023. Spend the weekend with the family touring 17 different sugarhouses throughout the Northwest PA area learning how each producer produces Pure Pennsylvania Maple Syrup and their unique way to keep the maple industry going.
Visitors will enjoy free kids activities, interactive tours and demonstrations, wagon rides, and of course, samples! After learning about the history and process of maple production, taste delicious maple syrup, coated nuts, candy, cotton candy, mustard, lattes, pancakes, sausage, and more! Before you leave, don't forget to purchase your favorite maple products for at home! Each sugarhouse has different aspects to offer, so make sure to visit multiple!
All tours are free and run Saturday, March 11th and Sunday, March 12th from 10am to 4pm. Check with individual Sugarhouses to confirm hours. This is an indoor/outdoor event - so make sure to dress for the weather, this is NWPA!

Crawford County Sugarhouses
1. Howles Maple Farm - 27828 Patterson Rd Guys Mills, PA 16327
A 4th generation maple farm with the 5th generation learning quickly. Sample maple chili, milkshakes, lemonades, coffee, sundaes, beer, hot sauces, mustards and more!

The sister company to Howles Maple Farm. Enjoy a true maple brunch Saturday and Sunday 10am-2pm.

A family run operation offering tours, free samples, a kids activity inner "Little Saplings Corner," food, beverages, and a free drawing for a gift basket.

Family run operation with huge help from their neighbors. Take a tour and try some maple cream, candy, fudge, cupcakes and syrup!
5. Hurry Hill Farm and Museum - 11424 Fry Road Edinboro, PA 16412
Featuring 2022 New Cookbook. Wagon ride or interpretive walking trail, maple museum, tasting room and maple products for sale.
6. Maple Lane Maple Products - 9437 Phillips Rd Union City, PA 16438
A family operation that has been producing maple syrup since 1944. Free samples of maple syrup, coated nuts, candy, cream, mustard and crumb. Join us for lunch where you can purchase a Smith hot dog and enjoy a free beverage. Free drawing for a maple gift basket.
7. Shumake's Sugar Shack - 11401 Hilltop Rd Albion, PA 16401
A small family operation with delicious syrup samples, our famous Rum-Barrel aged maple syrup for sale, infused syrups, maple lattes, and more!
8. Squirrel Creek Maple Products - 9404 West Lake Rd Lake City, PA 16423
A journey back in time, powered by a 1937 James Leffell and Company steam boiler, powering a one of a kind steam evaporator. Check out the large collection of antique farm tractors and machinery on display, take a tour and taste our maple syrup, cream, and buckwheat pancake mix.
9. Yatzor's Maple Products - 5860 Koman Rd Edinboro, PA 16412
Free samples of syrup, along with free pancakes, sausage, and juice or coffee! There will also be candy and syrup for sale.
10. Casbohm Maple and Honey - 9750 Sherman Rd Albion, PA 16401
Our sugarhouse and Maple shop are cozy with easy access. Taste the flavors of the delicate to robust maple syrup and try our Maple Cotton Candy! New Maple Peanut Butter will be available for purchase. We will have honey from our hives too!
11. Triple Creek Maple Products - 9225 Fillinger Rd Cranesville, PA 16410
A family business that has grown from a 10 to a 2100 tap operation and is currently researching and developing a new method of sap filtration in the evaporator. Free samples of maple products and maple baked goods available. Free horse drawn wagon rides on Saturday!
